The quality of a wine is born in the vineyard

Only from excellent grapes are produced excellent wines. 

Imagining the Roero, glimpses of vineyards and woods come to mind, there is never an area that resembles the other.

Our company was born here, in a context that perfectly sums up the characteristics of the Roero environment: there are hills, vineyards, small villages surrounded by fields, churches and medieval castles.

Unesco confered it in 2014: the wine-growing landscapes of Roero, together with those of Langhe and Monferrato, are worthy of recognition as a World Heritage Site.

The beginning of the history of our family in the world of wine takes place in the early 30s, years in which the first documents of purchase and sale of grapes date back, which certify the start of a real business by our grandfather Antonio Nota.

Antonio in those years sold the wine produced mainly in neighboring countries and managed to pass on his passion for the wine world to his son Giuliano, our father, who expanded the business by strongly believing in the potential of this company. Today, the work is conducted by us, Fabrizio and Massimo. We are constantly trying to renew and improve. From our grandfather and dad, we inherited the passion for country life and learned the slow pace of rural life: to make good wine you need patience.

For our part, we try to link tradition to modernity, we believe in the beauty of shared choices and in teamwork.


Together we manage about 4 hectares of vineyards, the production in these terms allows us to optimally take care of the quality of our products. At the base of a successful winemaking there is in fact a careful care of the grapevine that requires to be followed constantly throughout the year. All operations, from pruning to harvest, are carried out manually with enthusiasm and passion, every single bottle has really passed through our hands

These were the words of my grandfather, handed down from father to son to become the philosophy of our company.


By dehydrating and storing part of our grapes with completely natural methods, we have succeeded in making you taste the quality of our wines up to their Origin.
